Minor bumps or a slightly harder stop will lock the seat belt tensioner on the passenger seat, but not the drivers seat. Since the bump or stop was not severe, it's unexpected that the passenger seat tensioner will lock. The usual "allow it to retract an inch or so" does NOT unlock it. daughter of the deep house test
