Web1 day ago · The full moon April 6 was special. It marked a rare calendar event that coincided with Passover, the end of Lent and the 15th day of Ramadan, one of the holiest seasons for all three faiths – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. For Muslims, Ramadan is the Islamic month in which the angel Gabriel revealed verses of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad. WebThe Exodus occurred at midnight on the first night. But the holiday is 7-8 days for a reason -- it celebrates more than just the Exodus. The seventh day, a full week after the Exodus, is when, according to the rabbinic chronology, the parting of the Red Sea occurred. And so the 7th day of Pesach is the holiday of the deliverance at the Red Sea.
